Medals should be given to those who have gone beyond the call of duty. They should not be given freely. Make your medals mean something to the recipients and to those who will view them. Allow your members to strive for excellence on your wiki. When excellence occurs, then and only then should a medal be merited. Use the compliment tools to give kudos to members of your wiki. Use medals to recognize the outstanding members of your wiki.

How to give medals

• Right click on the icon and capture the URL address
• Send a message to the recipient and include the URL address along with your message.
• Have them place the URL address into the Add Photo of their Profiles.
• Copy the description next to the medal and use that for rollover text
  
• It is possible to receive an award or medal from different wikis, so label what wiki it came from.

	CONTRIBUTION - The recipient will have achieved 5000 contributions to the wiki. One medal for every 5000 contributions.( Profile edits are discarded )
	STORYBOARD - The recipient will have shown the ability to create and participate in active storyboards. This person is the fundamental draw of your thread activity,
	FUTURIST - The recipient is a visionary with proven skills to bring the wiki into the future. Concepts and ideas abound unlike any other.
